It’s time to make plans for a good and instructional clarinet camp.  At the Jo Lena Dial Summer Clarinet Camp for 2011, you’ll be getting three of the Houston area’s most experienced and qualified clarinet teachers.  All students will learn:

• how to care for their instrument
• how to select, care for, and to make their reeds last
• how to further develop their sound and flexibility on their clarinet
• how to develop high register tone quality and fingerings
• how to develop and to build technique

And…

• Play in chamber ensembles
• Play an Eb, Alto, Bass, or Contra Bass Clarinet

The camp will be held on Monday, June 13 through Thursday, June 16 2011 at Westfield High School in Spring ISD from 9 AM
to Noon. A recital will be held Thursday at Noon for family and friends!

The camp fee will be $100 per student.
Payment must be by cash or money order.

Note:  Students should be prepared to play a scale of their choice, either major or chromatic, and a small excerpt from a solo or etude on the first morning of the camp.
